Morning Announcements

FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 2010

· Good Morning! Today is a B day.

· Come down to the Foreign Language club’s bake sale on Friday, 3/19 during your lunch periods. They will be selling cookies, donuts, and much more to raise money for the victims of Chile.

· The National Junior Honor Society will be selling chocolate flower lollipops to celebrate the beginning of spring. Lollipops will be sold during lunch periods this week for $1.00 and all proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House.

· There will be an informational meeting for any 7^th or 8^th grader interested in joining the Swimming and Diving team on Tuesday, March 23^rd afterschool in room 59. See Coach Crowley if you have any questions about being part of the Swim team.

· Any 7^th and 8^th grade student interested in trying out for a spring sport should be sure they have a physical on file with the nurse. Physicals or green cards are to be returned to the box inside the nurse’s office as soon as possible. Listen for announcements from your coach.

· The Critter Club has updated their webpage so please check out the Friendly's Fundraiser pictures. All you need to do is go to the Seneca page, click on clubs, and click on the words Critter Club to bring you to the webpage.

· The Critter Club needs donations of pet beds for Little Shelter. If you have any dog beds for 30 lbs or under, please bring your donations to the library. All donations of cat or dog beds are welcomed. We will need the donation by Thursday, March 18th. (This last sentence is for the website and not to be read in the am) Thank you from Mrs. Keith and Ms. Rozul.

· If any student would like to stay after school in the Library, they must get a pass from Mrs. Keith at some point during the school day.

· Attention all Seneca Middle School Students in grades 6-8 interested in cheerleading for next school year. There will be a meeting on Monday April 5^th at 2:30 in the Little Theater to discuss summer camp and tryouts for all interested. All grades are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you then!

THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 2010

· The Seneca Drama club would like to announce that tickets will be going on sale for this year’s musical, Annie Jr. Performances will take place on Friday, March 19^th and Saturday, March 20^th at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Ticket prices are $6.00 each and can be purchased during your lunch period starting tomorrow.

· There will be a meeting of the Lego/Robotics club on Thursday, March 18^th at 2:30 in room 73. See Mr. Silva if you have any questions.

· There will be a meeting of the Kickboxing club on Thursday, March 18^th at 2:30 in the gym. All are welcome.

· There will be an important meeting for Track and Field on Wednesday, March 17^th after school in the Little Theatre.

· Attention all girls who are interested in playing lacrosse this spring: there will be an informational meeting next Wednesday, March 17^th in room 63. Please bring a pen.

· There will be a meeting of the Critter club on Thursday, March 18^th at 2:30 in the library. Please remember to bring your cat or dog donations.

· If any student would like to stay after school in the Library, they must get a pass from Mrs. Keith at some point during the school day.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17, 2010

· Good Morning! Today is a B day.

· Reminder to all Chamber Orchestra students: We will be meeting today after school.

· Reminder to all Jazz Band students: We will not be meeting tonight. There will be rehearsal next week.

· There will be a meeting of the Art club on Wednesday, March 17^th at 2:30 in room 63. Please bring a recycle-able plastic bottle (vitamin water/water bottle) to the meeting.

· Any 7^th and 8^th grade girl interested in joining Gymnastics: There will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, March 17^th after school in the Little Theatre.

· Any 7^th or 8^th grade girl interested in girls’ Softball must attend a mandatory informational meeting at 2:35 on Tuesday, March 16^th in room 31. Any questions, please see Ms. Austin or Mr. Mundy.

· There will be a meeting of the Lego/Robotics club on Tuesday, March 16^th at 2:30 in room 73. Bring all fundraising paper work.

· There will be a meeting of the Foreign Language club on Tuesday, March 16 at 2:30 in room H13.
