Human Resources is the cornerstone of the district. We view ourselves as one large family who truly values the "human" aspect of our personnel. We have provided some links to highlight some areas we cover, but employees are always encouraged to contact our office for assistance and guidance.
The Personnel Office or Human Resources Department of the Sachem Central School District provides ongoing support and service to approximately 3,000 employees per year. Employees working for the Sachem Central School District must be certificated employees recognized by the New York State Education Department, non-instructional employees as recognized by the Office of Civil Service or meet New York State regulations for employment.
If you are a certificated employee seeking information or employment, you are required to use our OLAS on-line application system. The OLAS online application is the sole method to apply for these positions. Resumes and or letters of interest sent to the District via fax, email or paper copies are not part of our process for candidate review. If you wish to be considered for a position you must ensure to apply using our online application system. The on-line system provides you with the opportunity to attach resumes, certification, cover letters, letters of recommendation, or any other pertinent information.
