Welcome to the Sachem Central School District Purchasing Office.

The Purchasing Office provides support and assistance with the procurement of goods and services necessary for the educational and auxiliary departments of the District.

The objective of the procurement process is to obtain goods and services in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations that are of the appropriate quality and quantity at the best possible prices. In order to accomplish this, various methods of procurement are used.

The Sachem Central School District advertises bids in the Legal Advertisement section of Newsday and distributes Bid / Quote and RFP documents through the Empire State Purchasing Group. Bid/Quote/RFP results will also be posted upon award.

In addition to bids prepared by the Purchasing Office, a variety of cooperative bids and contracts are also utilized in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
