SENIORS! It is that time of year… Senior day will be on Monday, June 11. You need to bring in the permission slip with $25 to B106 periods 3, 6 or 8 to get the GOLDEN TICKET! The Golden Ticket is your entrance ticket. It must be signed and completed to gain entrance. Any questions…See Mr. Mauro
Do you have AP review books that you aren’t using anymore? Now that AP exams are over, consider donating your gently used review books to the library. Juniors came up with the idea to pay it forward for others. We’ll be creating a free library of AP review books available for students. These books can be dropped off at the library. Thank you for your time and help.
Just a reminder that all library books are due back NOW. If you have any library books taking up space and dust in your room or your locker, please return them to the library, now rather than later. Seize the moment.
The Business and Marketing Honor Society is having a meeting on Wednesday, June 6, after school. Returning members must attend.
Mrs. Carannante’s Anatomy Class Seniors: Your mink practical date has been changed to Wednesday, June 6th in class. Please be prepared to take the test.
Attention all National Honor Society Members: The meeting is tomorrow, June 7, and will be for Juniors only! Seniors will receive their NHS tassel and stole at graduation rehearsal.
On Monday, June 11, all Juniors will attend a mandatory Teen Safe Driving program during periods 5 and 6. Juniors who have lunch during their presentation should make arrangements to eat lunch before or after the presentation. No food will be allowed in the Auditorium. All Juniors who are planning to secure a parking sticker for their Senior year must attend.
All students who have medications in the Nurse’s office: Please stop down on your last testing day to pick up your medications. All medication that is not picked up will be discarded at the end of the school year as per New York State law. Thank you.
Attention all OWE students: You need to hand in your badge and OWE folder to Mrs. Pepe’s office in B206 by Monday, June 11. There will be a labeled box for your to place your items. If you are working in an office, you may leave your badge in the office. Failure to hand in your badge and folder will result in the dropping of your marking period grade by ten points.
Tri-M officer elections have been moved to Friday, June 8, during 9th period in the Band Room.
All Math Honor Society senior members should see Ms. McDermott in Room A219 to pick up their graduation cords.
Are you feeling cold? Did your socks get wet this morning? Well, come to the main lobby to get your new pair of Sachem spirit socks! Every purchase helps support North’s Envirothon Team!
Attention all students and staff: Please help reduce plastic waste at Sachem North! There are now 14 water bottle recycling bins around the school. Please make note of the locations in the Octagon, by the Auditorium, inside and outside of both gyms and both cafeterias, and outside of each locker room. These bins are for water bottles only. Thank you for doing your part to help reduce plastic trash!
To any athlete that missed sports physicals here at North: You still have the opportunity to have one done for free. The school doctor will be at the middle schools today, June 6, at Samoset.
Badminton is open to all students and staff in the Main Gym during 9th period every day. Get ready for the upcoming badminton tournament coming up this spring. Grab some friends and come down to the Main Gym every day 9th period for open gym badminton. Any questions, see A. Falco in Phys. Ed.
